Also called "Gooseneck Gourd" or "Speckled Swan", the fascinating goose gourd produces a goose-like head and a long neck. It has a smooth green exterior with 2 never exactly alike. 

This type of ornamental gourd is used fresh as a colorful, attractive decoration. It is not edible, but often used in fall arrangements with Indian corn and mini pumpkins. When dried, they develop a tough, but thin shell and can be used as birdhouses and crafts.


Native to northern Mexico and eastern North America, this yellow-flowered gourds have been cultivated for a very long time.
