Lakota Squash

This colorful squash variety was grown by the Lakota Sioux, for whom it is named. It is pear-shaped and flame red-orange with green streaks at the bottom. It is an attractive addition to fall displays. The flesh is fine-grained with a sweet, nutty taste.
